A clear, anonymous API for public website inventory

The API returns listings that participating US dealerships and supported Canadian dealerships outside Quebec have chosen to share on Car Handshake.

Search example

GET /vehicles?zip=10001&radius_miles=50&condition=used&price_max=40000

Set country=CA for Canada. Canadian searches accept a postal code in zip; distance and price values use kilometres and Canadian dollars even though the stable wire names remain radius_miles and price_max.

Contract

OpenAPI 3.1 is published at /v1/openapi.json. Search uses opaque cursors, bounded pages, distance to each dealership location, typed errors, request IDs, and rate-limit headers.

Inventory availability

The REST API powers the consumer marketplace. AI-only inventory is intentionally available through the MCP rather than this API.
