You do not need an XLE just to get heated front seats
Toyota’s Canadian 2019 brochure lists heated front seats on the gas AWD LE. The AWD XLE adds convenience features including a heated steering wheel, power moonroof and power back door. Decide which of those you would use before narrowing your search to the higher trim.
This table is specifically for 2019 Canadian gasoline AWD models. A US comparison, a Hybrid listing or a later model year can give you a different answer. Match the year, market and powertrain before using the trim name as a shortcut.
| Feature | AWD LE | AWD XLE |
|---|---|---|
| Heated front seats | Standard | Standard |
| Heated steering wheel | Not listed as standard | Standard |
| Power moonroof | Not listed as standard | Standard |
| Power back door | Not listed as standard | Standard |
| Climate controls | Air conditioning | Dual-zone automatic climate control |

2019 Toyota RAV4 Le Awd
84,335 km · AWD · Gasoline

Choose the feature you miss on an ordinary Tuesday
If your main requirement is warm front seats and an AWD listing, keep the LE in the comparison. If you often load bags with your hands full or want a heated steering wheel, put an XLE beside it and try those features. A longer equipment list is useful when it fixes something you actually dislike about your current car.
Condition can change the decision. Test the liftgate, moonroof and heating controls rather than assuming that original equipment still works as intended. Ask what repair or reconditioning work has been completed and request the written record.
The inventory reviewed for this guide included Canadian cars in Saskatoon. Check the location on each current card; equipment and kilometres come from the seller. Open the full gallery and contact the dealer through the card to settle anything the photographs do not show.
Keep the tyre and service questions separate from LE versus XLE
Ask which wheels and tyres are included, their sizes and condition, and whether a second set comes with the car. A winter wheel set shown in one photograph may be offered separately. Get that answer in writing before comparing two cars.
Request service records and an inspection, and check the VIN for open Canadian recalls. A clean-looking exterior does not answer those questions. If an ad says certified, ask who provides the certification, which checks were performed and what written coverage applies to this VIN.
Use the related AWD guide for the drivetrain question. This trim comparison does not establish winter-tyre condition or turn an AWD RAV4 into a vehicle with low-range four-wheel drive.

Send the dealer the features you actually need
“I’m comparing Canadian 2019 RAV4 AWD LE and XLE cars. For VIN [VIN], please confirm the heated steering wheel, moonroof and power liftgate, and send photos of the relevant controls. Which tyres and keys are included? Can I see the service and inspection records when I visit?”
Remove features you do not care about and add your travel date. Ask dealer about this car takes you to the form for the selected Canadian listing. If the car has sold, use the current cards or Canadian RAV4 inventory to continue the comparison.

Find 2019 gasoline Toyota RAV4 AWD LE and XLE listings in Canada near my postal code. Use kilometres and Canadian equipment references.
