The powertrain is a dual-motor AWD electric drive unit with a secondary motor on the rear axle — the configuration that makes the RS feel different from entry-level Equinox EV trims. Charging is covered by the dual-level charge cord included on the sticker: it handles both 120-volt (1.4 kW) household outlets and 240-volt (7.7 kW) Level 2 charging, so you can top up at home without buying extra hardware.
The Preferred Equipment Group 2RS packages the RS's full complement of technology onto this build.
