A 2024 X3 and a 2025 X3 are different generations
BMW introduced the fourth-generation X3 for the 2025 model year. Its Canadian launch range used the names 30 xDrive and M50 xDrive. In older used listings you will see names such as xDrive30i and M40i. Put the model year beside the full designation before comparing equipment.
The new generation also brought BMW Curved Display and iDrive 9. If you prefer a particular control layout, an interior photo and a demonstration are more useful than assuming that every X3 works like one you drove before.

Mild hybrid does not mean you need to install a charger
The 48V systems BMW describes for the Canadian 2025 30 xDrive and M50 xDrive are mild-hybrid systems, not plug-in powertrains. Do not plan around an advertised electric-only commuting range for these versions.
That is a model-year reference, not permission to fill in a missing field on a used listing. If the title simply says X3 Sports Activity Vehicle, ask the dealer for the full engine designation and equipment record. The current cards preserve that uncertainty rather than guessing the engine from a photograph.

Try the controls and the parking space you will live with
At the viewing, pair your phone, set a destination, change the cabin temperature and check the parking camera views. Ask which features are fitted and which require an active service. A large display is not evidence that every advertised software feature is included.
BMW says the new generation is 34 mm longer and 29 mm wider than its predecessor. If your Toronto condo space is tight, measure the space and check access with the exact car, including mirrors and room to open the doors. Small specification differences can matter in a familiar parking spot.
Look at the wheels and tyre sidewalls, then ask which set is included. Request the service history and an independent condition inspection. A newer year or an M badge does not measure how this particular car was maintained.

Make the Vaughan visit answer the unresolved questions
